GamerTags & Handles

GamerTags and handles refer to unique names that players use when playing, sort of like a nickname. Players are encouraged to create a handle that captures their personality and/or interests.

When creating a handle for use in Esports, students must adhere to certain rules. Handles must be not reflect poorly on the student, Esports, the High School, or Thomas County Schools. Profanity, misogyny, racism, or handles that promote drug or alcohol abuse are prohibited. Any handle must be cleared by both the coach and PlayVS before use. Violations can result in suspension or dismissal from the team.
